Who We Are
Melissa is Director of Communications and Client Experience for ImprovEdge. She is an accomplished program/project manager and strategist with specific expertise in marketing, public relations, content development and social media.
Brooke received her J.D. from The Michael E. Moritz College of Law at The Ohio State University, and was a 2014 recipient of the Michael E. Moritz Leadership Award for exceptional service to the legal and educational community. She performs stand-up nationally and leads the sales initiative at ImprovEdge.
Jason is the founder of Side Street Planning, and a Principal at OHM Advisors, a city planning firm headquartered in downtown Columbus, Ohio. Jason has 15 years of professional urban planning experience, is a senior facilitator with ImprovEdge and an adjunct professor at The Ohio State University.
Dionysia is a Broadway dancer, singer and actor. A proud graduate of Wright State University, Williams has toured across the country and internationally (China, Europe) performing Broadway musicals.
Michael has led the way in creating meaningful, memorable experiences for groups from insurance professionals to accounting partners. He is also the Artistic Director of Celebration Theatre in Los Angeles.
In addition to serving as a senior facilitator for ImprovEdge, April has worked with theatre companies and creative artists as an artist, director, producer, manager, instructor and dramaturg in LA, NYC, Chicago, and Columbus.
Michelle is a Creative Lead and Senior Facilitator for ImprovEdge. She is also a New York City based actress, director and facilitator. For the last 15 years, this Tony-nominated actress has been facilitating the exploration of where art and business principles meet.
Jamie is a senior facilitator, keynote speaker and award-winning writer for ImprovEdge, movies and the theater. As an educator, Jamie has taught at Northwestern University (her alma mater), University of California, Irvine, as well as the Chicago Academy for the Arts in Chicago. She is the recipient of numerous theater and screen writing awards including the Kennedy Center Fund for New American Plays award.
Erika is a Lead Instructional Designer and Facilitator with ImprovEdge. In addition, Erika is the VP of Training and Operations for Wellcoaches Corporation. As a Board Certified Coach and Professional Certified Coach with the International Coach Federation, Erika also advises the ImprovEdge Coaching practice.
Dan utilizes his Master of Education in Foreign and Second Language from The Ohio State University and experience from improv comedy to help those find their voice in a second, (or first) language.
As an Executive Coordinator for ImprovEdge, Christy uses her strong skills in business administration, project management, sales and customer service to provide the best client experience and relationship possible.
Mike is the Executive Director of College Summit New York, a non-profit organization that works with public schools to increase the number of students enrolling, and succeeding, in college.
Sonda is an adjunct instructor in public speaking and theatre at Capital University and Columbus State Community College in Columbus, Ohio. She received her B.F.A. in theatre performance from Indiana University of PA and her M.A. in Theatre and Communication from Indiana State University.
David has over 20 years of experience of creating and leading individual and organizational improvement initiatives. David has conducted hundreds of workshops to audiences ranging from Amgen to Michelin, Abbot Labs to Target, and the University of Kentucky to the IT Agency of the Sultanate of Oman.
Karen earned her MS in Mathematics at St. Francis University and her Master of Arts in Educational Policy and Leadership at The Ohio State University. She has been speaking, facilitating, and coaching since 2005. Outside of performing in improv shows, Karen is also a classically trained singer, poet, author, and former basketball coach.
For 15 years, Alex has been using improv as an education tool for both the workplace and the stage. He got his start in improv at The Ohio State University where he founded Fishbowl Improv, a group that he still mentors. After graduating with his BA in Theatre, Alex worked in the hospitality industry where he found his passion for training and has also designed and developed content as an Instructional Designer.
